Immortal Beats – Hip Hop Soul aus Deutschland

SOul Wat!

Beim Stöbern bin ich auf Immortal Beats aufmerksam geworden und schwer begeistert. Ich mag Hip Hop, ich mag Soul, ich mag das, was Immortal Beats macht. Soweit ich herausfinden konnte, stammt dieser Herr aus Dresden und ist Musik Produzent. Scheint recht vielseitig zu sein, dieser Immortal Beats: Hip Hop, Dubstep, Pop/Rock, Electro und Experimental gehören zu seinen Fachbereichen. Auf seiner Bandcamp-Homepage ruft er dazu auf, sich bei ihm zu melden, wenn seine Beats gefallen und man mit ihm zusammenarbeiten möchte. So hat´s auch Born One gemacht. Auf geht´s!

Hip Hop am Abend – Atmosphere´s Bumpin´ Beats

Atmosphere

Ich höre mich grad durch meinen unglaublich ungeordneten und doch wieder alphabetisch (immerhin!) geordneten Ordner “Sortieren Verschiedenes Gemischt Und Unsortiert”. Einfach mal durchhören und rausschmeißen, man erstickt ja heutzutage fast in Musikdateien. Das ist nicht gut. Nicht gut. Nun gut, da bin ich zu meiner Überraschung auf die Hip Hop Truppe Atmosphere gestoßen, dessen Lied “Freefallin´” mir definitiv bekannt vorkommt. Atmosphere, das  sind 2 junge Herren namens Slug und ANT, die mit diversen DJs zusammenarbeiten. Das, was ich bisher hörte klingt sehr fluffig, positiv, harmonisch, aber nicht so platt wie die heutigen Black Eyed Peas (die sich vom Hip Hop ja schon seit Jahren mehr und mehr entfernen) oder wie sie sich alle schimpfen und in den Charts zu hören sind. Wer sexistischen Gangsterrap erwartet, der oder die kann wohl relativ lange warten. Dicke Beats und Basslines, welche die Lungeflügel zum schlackern bringen. Hier also ein kleiner Hörgenuss. Hier gibt es eine Übersicht über ihre Veröffentlichungen.

Ich werde mich zumindest noch ein bisschen intensiver in die Musik von Atmosphere reinhören und diese Musiktateien vorm Papierkorb verschonen.

Soeben im Buch der Gesichter (Thanx Pam und Nori) drüber gestolpert: Misteur Valaire mit ihrem eingänglichen und frischen Sound. Dazu gibt es geschmackvolle und humoristisch anspruchsvolle Musikvideos, Daumen hoch! Misteur Valaire sind fünf Jungs aus Kanada, die Elemente des Jazz, HipHop, Rock und Electronica miteinander kombinieren und sich dabei gekonnt in Szene setzen. Traurige Nachricht – Rapper Nate Dogg gestorben

In der Nacht vom 15. auf den 16. März 2011 ist Nate Dogg (41) infolge eines weiteren Schlaganfalls gestorben.

Bereits 2007 erlitt er einen Schlaganfall, der vorübergehend zur halbseitigen Lähmung führte. Im Jahr 2008 erlitt er einen weiteren Schlaganfall.

Ich bin traurig.

Afro Samurai – Japanische Manga Serie mit Soundtrack von RZA

Wer auf Mangas steht und/oder auf Hip Hop, der sollte sich unbedingt die Afro-Samurai Staffeln mit allem was dazu gehört besorgen. Es gibt mittlerweile auch das Videospiel zur Serie…

Genial und wirklich passend ist der Soundtrack The RZA Presents: Afro Samurai OST zur Serie, der vom Wu-Tangler RZA geschaffen wurde. Auch sind Musiker wie Q-Tip oder Talib Kweli zu hören.

Gesprochen werden die Figuren im Englischen u.a. von Samuel L. Jackson und Lucy Liu.

Mixtapes für Musikentdecker_innen! – Samurai.fm

Wer entdeckt nicht gerne neue Musik, wer lässt sich nicht gern beschallen, ohne ständig an der Wiedergabeliste zu basteln?! Vielleicht habe ich was für Euch, was Euch gefallen könnte…SAMURAI FM.

Ihr könnt nach Genres Stöbern, Euch die Mixtapes anhören und in der Regel gibt es auch die Tracklist dazu.

50 Cent – P.I.M.P. – Original und Cover

Ich mag den Song PIMP von 50 Cent. Rein musikalisch gesehen. Über die Texte des Herrn Cent lässt sich streiten. Hab mich mal umgeschaut, was es sonst noch so an PIMP Versionen gibt. Es gibt noch eine Reggae-Dancehall Version von Bost & Bim, die covern ganz gern modernes Zeug. Ist auf der Du-Röhre allerdings gesperrt. Mittlerweile gibt es zahlreiche Coverversionen, bzw. Remixes die nach dem Smash Hit von 50 Cent  (auf der Platte “Get Rich Or  Die Trying, 2003) erschienen sind. Ich fange mal mit dem besten Stück von der Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band an. HIER heißt es, dieses Stück ist eine Coverversion des 50 Cent Hits! Kaum zu glauben…Auf vielen Blog, in vielen Foren wird jedoch behauptet, 50 Cent hätte “geklaut”.

Der Song hat Groove! Von 2008, also eindeutig nach 50 Cents Version entstanden.

Dann gibt es diese Version, die angeblich vom jungen Herrn Cent 1987 aufgenommen wurde. Keine Ahnung, was dran ist.

Es darf natürlich nicht die Version mit Snoopy Dogg fehlen.
